Specs for the new MacBook Pros (excuse me, I can’t stop drooling while writing this post) are here. The best feature is the Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i5 processors. For the life of me I cant figure out why Apple did not just even things out and put a Core i3 on the 13 inch entry level.
Price drop for the 17″ model by $200 dollars is pretty sweet., but the 15″ model goes up by $100.
My only complain is that even though Apple belongs to the Blue Ray Club, they do not actually put blue ray drives on their machines. Check out the specs below. (more…)

So a bunch of thieves actually cut a hole in the roof of a Best Buy in South Brunswick and used harnesses and ropes to lower themselves down to the sales floor and stole 20 Macbooks à la Mission Impossible. If they had touched the ground the alarms would go off so they used the technique used in the movie. (more…)
Apple Store Returns to Disappoint

The Apple Store was down for updates early this morning displaying their usual “We’ll be back soon” sign, which usually means a product release. All morning there were tweets and speculation about an upgrade to the MacBook Pro line of computers which has not been upgraded for a while. (Past their 200 day average.)
There have been reports of MacBooks sporting shiny new core i5′s (Intel’s new top of the line chips), and we were all hoping that was the case today to coincide with Macworld 2010.
