Will you ever make history?
Do you sometimes wonder what is the difference between us and the kind of people working for the best know magazines, websites, and brands? Are we not talented enough? Surely not. Did we not have enough education or as much as them? Possibly.
In my humble opinion the main difference is perseverance, I mean, at least in my case. I have been working as a web designer for about 10 years now. This is my first blog which I just started this year and I am in the process of designing my portfolio site, something I should have done at least 5 years ago.
Even when faced with a problem the people I’m talking about will not stop and spend years figuring out how to solve it. I have been so lazy so far, wasting my time watching television and playing games, but I guess it’s never too late to change and move forward.
This One Photograph Is Making History
What brought on this little rant you say? Well, this epic photographer for one:
Photographer Nick Nichols spent a year planning the nearly impossible: a top-to-bottom photograph of a 300-foot-tall redwood tree, now the centerpiece of the October issue of National Geographic Magazine.
ONE YEAR just planning! How many of us would have said: Meh, It can’t be done! and walked away? 98%?
