A 'hint' from Valve

I did not buy my Mac Book Pro to play games on it. I know there are no ‘great’ games for the Mac, I bought it to be able to bring home some design work where I can use all the fonts available to me from my job. I bought it so that I can play around with some iPhone SDK. I bought it because there are already 4 PC’s at home. I bought it because why not?

That will change next month

Steam and Valve’s library of games including Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and the Half-Life series will be available in April,” the company has confirmed.

I have been thinking about playing Half-Life 2 again for a while, but I’ve been kind of busy. If I can install it on the Mac Book, I can play for a bit before going to bed while watching some of the stuff on the TiVo so it works out great.

Even better news is that I wont have to pay for a separate key for the Mac version because the PC key will work for it and all steam games will now be released simultaneously on the PC, Xbox and Mac starting with Portal 2.
